Definition:
"The mechanical and chemical break down of large, complex, non-diffusible food into small, simple, diffusible and soluble form is known as Digestion".
1)Mechanical digestion:
"The break down of food without the help of any chemical or enzyme action is called mechanical digestion".
2)chemical Digestion:
"The break down of food with the help of digestive juices or enzyme present in the digestive tract".
Digestive System:
"it is the system in which the organs are involved in the process of the digestive system or absorption.
Part,s:
There are two different parts,s of the digestive tract.
1)Alimentary Tract:
The food passes from that tract. It starts from the mouth and ends at the anus. It is consists of a mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and anal canal.
(it is about 7.5_9meter in length)
2)Accessory organs:
A part or section in the alimentary canal in which each type of enzymes and other material,s which help in the digestion of food. They may be organs which are a pair of salivary glands, pancreas, and liver.
