Mean:
Immune resistance
Ity Condition/occurrence
Definition:
"The ability of a body which resist against the disease or pathogen is known as immunity"
Immunology:
It is the branch of biology in which we can study about immunity.
Note: from disease, we can protect over self by 3 line defense. These lines of defense are given below;
1-First line Defense:
Definition:
"There is not any specific and inclouded structure, chemicals and processes that work to prevent pathogens from entering the body".
Components of 1st line defense:
There are the main three-component which are included in 1st line defense
1-Skin
2-defense against respiratory tract
3-defense against digestive tract
Diagram:
the second diagram is used for digestive and respiratory system
2-second line of defense:
definition:
"It is also called non-specific defense".
Components of 2nd line defense:
the main component of 2nd line defense is the following
1- Macrophages and Neutrophils
2- Natural killer Cell
3-Complement System
4-Interferon
5-Inflammatory Response
6-Pyrexia and Pyrogens
